XF 1.5 Can not login normally

When I try to login the normal way everything seems to login, but it doesn't actually log me in. Even clicking "stay logged in" does nothing.

If I go directly to the admin page and login there it allows me to login.

This has happened to me when I had two XenForo installations in the same web root. In my case it was domain.com and domain.com/test. For this exact reason I moved my test installation to a subdomain.

I only have one install. However, I did initially install the software in /forums/ while I was migrating the old forum software to the Xenforo. Did some house cleaning, rearranging, etc.. and then removed the old forum software (phpBB) and moved XF to the web root. Not sure if the problem happened right after that or later.

With that being known. Maybe the cookie think's the forums are still at /forums/?

Deleting the cookies seemed to have solved the issue.
