Hey, something changed - can not log in to my forum

Just this morning I can not longer log in as member to my public forum
I get this NEW BOX appearing superimposed on the log-in user name box

When I try to log into the "Your name or email address" box
this little warning message pops up - hiding that entry box - says

"Click the extension icon or press \" (up arrow) E to
unlock. your password manager."

THIS IS NEW - in last da y- I can not log in through this new 'feature'
how do I log in?

I am paid up on my forum software

Did something change with the forum log in software last night?????

That sounds like a browser extension.

I do not understand "broken extension" is there something I can do to fix it
or who do I report it to besides XENFORO - my internet host?

Go into the settings for your browser extensions and disable them.

It's not an XF issue - the exact text you posted is not from XF.

XF does not have a "password manager".

Browsers have password managers.

Hmmmm... thanks very much for your suggestions and analysis.
I will try to figure it out and maybe try logging in with different browsers, etc.

THANKS, YOU WERE RIGHT.
THERE IS NO BUG WITH XENFORO SOFTWARE.
THE BUG has to do with some of my internet BROWSERS. BRAVE, CROME, etc.
overlaying some sort of 'helper' app that deals with log in user-ids...

I was able to log into my XENFORO FORUM USING A DIFFERENT BROWSER - "VIVALDI"

Sorry I picked the wrong software with problem XENFORO - not various BROWSERS
but still have no idea what changed to create my log in problem this morning
but using a different browser let me get around the (temporary bug, I hope) with various browsers.

I DISCOVERED WHERE THIS BUG (UNRELATED TO XENFORO FORUMS) CAME FROM....

JUST IN CASE YOU CAME TO THIS THREAD BECAUSE OF A SIMILAR NOT-XENFORO BUG
HAD SIMILAR SYMPTOMS.

EXPRESS VPNUNRELATED BUG WAS DO TO MY USING SOFTWARE EXPRESS VPN

EXPRESS VPN CHANGED SOMETHING and
if you clicked on the option to 'sync' Express VPN with Brave browser...

"How to install Chrome Extensions in Brave Browser"

The problem I had in logging on to XENFORO
was due to adding a 'browser extension' to my browser extensions'
when I tried to log on to XENForo forum yesterday - there was a POP-UP input window for
plugging in my user name input ... which BLOCKED my ability to enter my Xenforo user-name...

I solved this conflicting software bug by TURNING OFF THE BROWSER EXTENSIONS OPTION for my CROME browser. -(!!! ???)
well, this got rid of the little pop-up window hiding the user-name entry field to XENFORo forum..... after removing the browser extension option from my Crome browser
I was able to see the CLEAN log in entry fields to log in to XENFORO.

Well, despite me not finding the link to the Crome browser extension options window...
I hope this gives a clue as to where my problem logging in to Xenforo was actually coming from.
