Can I receive email notification when a user is awaiting approval?

I have a private board where all registrants must be manually approved.

Right now I have to manually check and refresh the "Users Awaiting Approval" to see if there is anyone waiting to be approved. Is there a way I can be emailed when I have new users signing-up?

I'm sure I'm just missing a checkbox somewhere.

I second this. I also tried installing an addon to put an "Awaiting Approval" notice up in the moderator bar, but haven't got it working correctly yet.

A lot of my staff can't be at a computer to sit on the forum and wait for things to happen. Email notices for members needing approval, reported posts and pending moderator actions would be most helpful. Even having a dedicated Twitter account for staff, which XF could broadcast notices to, would work for us.

Thanks Jake, it looks like that's exactly what I need. I'll give it a try. I wonder if the more popular add-ons will eventually become part of the standard XF install?
