XF 2.2 Can a poll be set up to allow guests to vote?

AFAIK, guests be set to vote on polls via the user group.



Now how that is effectively tracked.. I have no clue.. and haven't pursued it since that level of activity I personally limit to engaged members.

Unless something has changed, I don’t think a guest can vote on polls.

Guests cannot vote on polls, react to content, and a few other things.

The user group permissions exist because that group also covers members who have not confirmed their accounts.

Internally they can’t because guests all share the same user ID (0), so anything that is done by user_id (mostly things that @Paul B pointed out), can’t work for guests.
