Sincere thanks to the vBulletin community!

Greetings all,
As some of you know, my wife and I own property in Central America and have worked for the last few years toward building a home there. We are now in a position where we can begin construction, and that will require a lot of time on site and a great deal of travel.
Since my role in vBulletin can't reasonably be filled from 3,000 miles away, the time has come for me to transition various responsibilities to my teammates. I will be with Team vB through this Friday, December 11.
These changes will not directly affect vBulletin customers. The rest of the team remains intact, and the most important things are not changing:
Kevin Sours will continue to run vBulletin's large Engineering group, with backup from Joe Rosenblum, Internet Brands's CTO.
Don Kuramura will continue to be responsible for Product Management, strategy, and business development.
Steve Machol will continue managing the Support team, with backup from Jennifer Rundell, Internet Brands's VP of Content.
The path to building 4.0 out the door has been incredibly exciting, and all the more so to have done it alongside such a smart and dedicated team. (Each of them has a standing invitation to visit Lake Arenal!)
vBulletin is in very capable hands. The imminent release of 4.0 is just the beginning of some very exciting things ahead. The Internet evolves quickly, so in addition to new things like the Content Publishing Suite, Team vB are working on even bigger expansions, like products and services for big-board customers, vB for mobile, and more.
Again, a heartfelt thank you to the vBulletin community for all of your support.
Onward!

@FreshFoot - Ray was a scapegoat. The sh!t people blamed him for is still happening, how do you not see this. Lift your petty hate off the guy and blame the company, that's what everyone else did.

With regard to the relevance of Floris' blog and this case....

I'm just guessing.....

...but I think what I.B. are trying to use it for, is mainly for the purpose of attempting to establish a time-line on XF. I doubt the comments themselves, other than the date they were made are very relevant to the case.

-Chris

I feel that's the case indeed. I am not involved, nor is the site. It's just added by Joe as a 'I said I read that, and here is screenshot of where I read it'.

I do blame the company. But it started with this guy. I don't really care if he followed through with his wishes or the companies. At the end of the day the guy hasn't once shown me he felt bad or is sorry about what happened.

He acts like it was a good thing or that he could care less with what happened. So for me, I have no respect for the guy, when he shows none for me.

Like I said, I could CARE LESS about what you think.

What business is it of anyone's on what grounds Ray left?

I make it my business. His actions involved the loss of my investments. So it is my business regardless if he's PART of NOT Part of the company's decision. He was there and it's simple as that..

if he at least went out and said "hey I'm sorry for what happened, if I could redo it myself I would change things".

He showed no remorse or any act of kindness. So as I stated. I don't really care what you or anyone else thinks.

I gave my opinion on the matter and anyone that WANTS to go through with giving him negative feedback can do so. If you don't want to, then don't simple as that....

Your wasting your time fighting with me.

Shamil, my friend, you're killing me with all this dropbox stuff. How about a site that isn't blocked by my proxy at work? :p

I cannot host it on my personal site: I could be potentially liable. I'll try to find some alternative sources, including attaching them to this thread.

synopsis ??

Xenforo has an excellent law firm that is making the case to get the California lawsuit dismissed due to a prior identical case that was filed in England first, he is also claiming that vB/IB did not have a right to unilaterally file an amended complaint without the court authorizing it first or ruling on XenForo motion to dismiss.

Mr. Grace is asking the court to dismiss the case in California because of the excessive burden of dual lawsuits, highlighting the fact that the court in England is the proper and only jurisdiction due to the fact that the 'alleged crimes' took place in England.
