That declaration has false statements in it, starting with the claim that IB is a California corporation, and Lynn is the corporate attorney too !!!

If their trial preparation here is any indication of what kind of company Internet Brands is, it is one that is completely mismanaged. They don't even know where their companies are incorporated!
 
Think about all of Brisco's stunts since he took over vB and then think of the final result of these lawsuits.

Do you know where the UK records are online about this case? I have had little luck in navigating this new... horrible HMCS website.
 
Most likely a legal assistant wrote that declaration, not Lynn, but she can't be that bright if she signed it.
 
I am uncomfortable commenting on the case, so I won't. Instead, I'll offer a related observation.

I honestly think the topic should be off-limits altogether. I have ever since Floris' blogs became evidence. Its not s stretch to think this thread could be requested in discovery as well.

Imagine saracastic comments being read into evident without context as though the words were the true meaning of the poster? "Sir, even users on your own website have made statements..."

Not to mention the times when someone makes an inaccurate statement and Kier replies. Like anyone else, he values his reputation and feels compelled to respond. At the same time, it might give some IB lurker insight into his defense. Imagine playing poker where you keep your 5 cards hidden, but the other player has to place one face up. It doesn't guarantee a winning hand, but it does give you an advantage.

There's a reason defendants are told to respond "no comment" by their legal team.

Thats my two cents, for what its worth.

Internet Brands should really just keep quiet. They keep digging themselves into a bigger and bigger hole the more times they open their mouth to lie.

Fred, I think you make some valid points. I have commented on some of these threads, but I can certainly see your points and agree with them.

That said, I will refrain from commenting on them any further. I think it's a wise thing, thanks for the reminder.

Let me play devil's advocate. They certainly have not quoted anything from vbtruth. Nor has Chronos or Veritas been hauled in :rolleyes:

Just because they haven't doesn't mean they won't attempt to. Since they are grasping at straws, ie Floris blogs then they will continue to throw whatever they can to the walls to see what will or won't stick. With Fred reminding me of that, I have decided to back away.

From your past posts, I understand your views of vB very clear, and this style of response was/is expected from you,

As far as closing the forums down... well just because this may or may not be something worth talking about doesn't mean that your EXTREME stance should be taken.. again, it's your opinions and they are very clear when it comes to vB or IB. We both have opinions and they differ.. that's ok. :)

Now stop being pathetic, playing the victim and baiting people because you were too gutless and spineless to pursue any kind of action towards the guy. Again, you lack substance, and clearly have nothing better to do with your time other than throw your dummy out each and every time.
