Cable Modem

Looking to purchase a new cable modem. Does anyone have any suggestions for a cable modem?

Check with your provider first. Most have an acceptable model list that they'll deal with. If you were to get one that wasn't on the list, they may not provision it.

Agreed with Biker... cable is just not the same as ADSL, so check with your provider and get their recommended modem, nothing else.

It depends what technology your ISP uses too.

You'd need something to specifically support DOCSIS3 for example if your ISP runs that.
