XF 1.5 Bypass spam checking in conversations?

I spam check new users and block (moderate) certain phrases in posts such as links and emails.

However, this also stops new users sending certain phrases in conversations.

I would like to bypass this because users register on my site then contact an advertiser directly by conversation to apply for discount that is only given to registered members and they need to confirm emails and other details that are blocked (or link to product pages on their sites to make enquiries).

This was asked in this thread but I don't think people understood the need to bypass this on conversations only:

Is there currently any way to do this please?
