XF 2.1 Buy a member a coffee, with PayPal

On my board, we have some great members helping others out. I would love a button that lets a grateful posted buy another member a coffee through PayPal.

Are there any addons or customisations I can setup to do this?

You could use a custom user field which the members would just enter their PayPal address into.

Smart idea @Brogan. Not sure what sort of shenanigans I would need to do to link to PayPal etc, but that is a great first stab at the idea.

Hmmm, just had an idea myself. Modify the templates to add a link next to the Like button to "Buy them a coffee".

Members would just enter they own paypal.me URL in the field - e.g. https://paypal.me/slartybartfarst

I'm not sure if there are any legal or tax implications for the site owner in doing this. I presume the transaction is just between the two parties, and not me.

Currently having a little debate on my forum about it. I don't want members to feel disgruntled if someone they helped a lot didn't buy them that coffee.
