Is there a way to disable user accounts in bulk? My forum has been around since 1999, and there's at least 50k users that haven't been active in the last 10 years, and I'd like to disable them.
That is different than the XF2 feature which lets you set an account’s status to ‘Disabled’. It can be done on an individual basis, but I don’t see a way to do it in bulk.
The state "disbaled" I think would normally be for user requests.
I would have thought for old inactive accounts then deleting would be more useful, but that's just me, maybe there is is an advantage to disabling them.

I've always been wary of deleting an old account, because that person may have been an active member at one point, and their history would be lost (i.e. not searchable) if the account was deleted. We've had board members pass away over time, and it's a nice way to preserve their legacy.
