It's similar to what disabling your account on Facebook does. They don't receive notifications, emails, conversations, etc. They are logged out and if they login then it cancels the disabled status.

Question on this as my users seem to be having issues... They're already logged in because they're receiving the message stating that their account is disabled. So I understand they need to login to re-activate their account - but how do they do that when they're already logged in?
Is there a way to identify a disabled account via CSS in order to style their profile info to show, they are disabled? Or is there a usergroup or could there be a group with all disabled members?
That worked great. Now I would like to also change the user-avatar within that group or don't show the avatar at all next to posts. Is that possible. I found not permission "use avatar" or and addon that adds that.
