Despite the same error, I'm pretty sure that error is different. This appears to be caused by a browser, though it's not something that we've reproduced.

For what it's worth, I changed my phone from BB Curve to Android (HTC) and no longer experience this behavior. So this could be something with the phone browser.

Was your BB Curve on a Blackberry Enterprise Server? Admins on there can control and modify how your phone posts to the internet.

I'm not sure, it's a personal phone that has my carrier's required blackberry data plan. Who knows what they set back there but I use the Opera Mini browser to post.
