Birthday Thread 1.9

No permission to download
Hey Andy, great addon!

Is it possible to exclude certain groups from having a thread created? Thanks
I'd like to see this as well. I run a roleplay site, so I'd like to only have birthday threads created for the Player usergroup, and not all of the character accounts.

AndyB updated Birthday Thread v1.2.7
FYI, getting the following error after recently adding some usergroups (field value is "20,32,33") into the excluded user groups field within ACP...

AndyB updated Birthday Thread with a new update entry:

See description

On Dec 31, 2015 version 1.4 of this add-on was released to address an exploitable SQL injection vulnerability. If you are still using a version of this add-on which is below 1.4 or released before Dec 31, 2015 then it is essential that you update to the latest version of the add-on as soon as possible to fix this security issue. If you have any further questions, please ask.

This looks nifty! In the option to exclude secondary group IDs, how does that work if user member of both registered & premium usergroups and we exclude registered so only premium members get greetings. Will premium members still get it or because they are also members of registered, they'll be excluded?

Thanks!
Ray

I just installed this. When doing a testrun, I get the error that the password is incorrect. What could be the reason for this? (XF1.5.21)

I'm puzzled: Why is it necessary to run this as a cron job on the server instead of as a normal Xenforo cron entry?

Hmmm... it doesn't seem to require a server cron job to run after all. It appears to be updating the threads automatically at about 1.30 EDT. Although it has found exactly 4, no more and no less, each day for the first 3 days. That seems rather coincidental?
