My ad management mod actually uses all of these new criteria features per ad. Trying to get a beta out for some feedback on what users want but having some issues with how I want to do some things.
 
I upgraded my site without any major issue. There are some RTL issues though. Has been reported in the bug forum. :) I have to say I am very excited to hear about the global RSS (y)
 
If you are taking requests, perhaps a notice displayed when a custom profile field has not been filled out? Not a huge deal, but it would be nice.

I thought maybe there was a regex type statement to detect a non-fiilled in field, but have not been successful so far.

That would be really useful, I have added new fields in my forum but not everyone noticed seriously.. so I was looking for the same option as you described.

Maximum Messages Criteria

The criteria system can now check the maximum number of messages posted by a member. This pairs with the existing minimum messages criteria.

Could someone explain this to me? Is this for the profile fields?
 
It's for notices and trophies; e.g. display a notice to members with less than x messages.

Is it possible to do one based on an effective criteria of "is not null".

I've not been able to figure this out but I'm trying to set one up along the lines of:

If user is logged in and "Twitter" is not null then display "Did you know you can follow us on Twitter"
