XF 2.0 Being able to search pages?

Is it possible to make the site search engine to search pages? I would like to use the pages function to create articles but am concerned the content won't be found easily. Is there an addon or mod? I didn't see anything. How are people using the pages function to best use?

I thought about that but the threads look too much like a forum. I am also looking at some of the mods. It's a shame Xenforo doesn't offer an official CMS. My concern is building a site on a plugin and the developer ups and leaves. I see many of the resources on here have been abandoned over the years and users (many of them paid) have been left hanging. It's like the developer got bored and left. I thought maybe using pages might be best as it is xenforo supported.

Xenforo is a CMS, it just depends what you ask for.
A quick look at the search index tells me that pages get indexed.

Curious why you think that's not optimal? I think good quality content is the number one in importance.

How about using resources for articles?
