[bd] Push Notification [Deleted]

This was looking great until I realised I send more than 7500 alerts per month. 7500 is free, 10,000 is 50 bucks... scale of economy seems broken, nope.jpg

You can control via AdminCP to disable Pushover completely for some common actions and reduce your cost though.

Or you can provide it as a premium service for paid users for example (y)

I use it just for premium members and staff members. Works like a dream. Often times I get alerts from Pushover before I even get them on the forum.

xfrocks updated [bd] Pushover Integration with a new update entry:

Now supports Pushbullet!

This update brings Pushbullet support for broader support and lower cost for webmaster. Pushbullet application can be installed on Android and iOS, completely free! And even more awesome, extensions are available for Google Chrome and Firefox with Safari coming soon. Is that enough? Nope. Pushbullet has application for Windows 8 too, with more on the way.

Does this push new conversations too? Or only alerts (and thus no push for convo's since no alert for those)

I keep receiving "Pushbullet e-mail could not be determined." when I try with the "oauth test url:" on the Pushbullet OAuth Clients page . Must the e-mail associated with Pusbhullet be identical with the one in XenForo?

When I go to Xenforo and try to associate my user account with Pushbullet it just keeps on going forever after I've clicked "Approve". (Animation just keeps spinning)

My settings
Name: Webpage Name
Website URL: http://www.example.com/forum
Redirect URI: http://www.example.com/forum/register/pushbullet
Allowed_origin: http://www.example.com/forum

*example.com/forum = XF root folder

Might there be anything wrong with my settings?

When a user wants to receive push notification, they install the app and connect their app account with XenForo.
Thanks. So you're saying that any user that wants to get push notification must install the app on his/her phone and associate it with Xenforo account too? Unlike the owner of the forum installing the app and associate the key to the forum and any user/ group registered on the forum will get the notification?

Which of the above is the condition?
