I've tried to go back to php 7.1 and the error is gone but until last day it worked on php 7.2 without problems. Any clue?
Any way to control the "Commercial uploaded file" option using Permissions, instead of Categories? Since this option uses the main site's Paypal account, I only want my site resources to have access to this option. I can lock it down by Categories, but that will cause me to create duplicate categories just to separate the permissions.
Any thoughts?

In each category of resource manager, in "Allowed Resource Types" check "Commercial uploaded file".
[bd] Paygates is not available for XF2 as it is not required. So yes, I assume you'd lose the logs.
That's true, but I don't think you'd have access to them via the ACP. You could, however, get them directly out of the database, though.XF would not remove any third party information stored in the DB.
It's in the database (unless you uninstall the add-on) but it cannot be viewed within AdminCP.
