[bd] Mails 1.1.0

No permission to download
Most troubling! I logged on as a user that I know is valid, and I'm getting the "resend confirmation email" message and, of course, the user cannot post anything.

How can I completely remove this add-on and move all of the users back to valid?
You can uninstall the add-on from the AdminCP just like other add-ons. To move all users back to valid state, you will need to perform a search base on user state and edit them one by one.

:(

This seems like punishment, especially because we're talking about 600 or so users. Shouldn't an uninstall routine actually undo everything that the installation changed?

It undoes what the installation did but not what happened during the time it ran. There are other things that may change the user state too so it's not safe to revert all those during installation.

Super-great-addon :)

How to integrate the mandrill bounce process with the core bounce system in xenforo 1.4? How setup the options in xenforo and mandrill to operate correctly?

It does that by itself, you don't have to do anything.

Ok... because from mandrill account I forward the bounce email to my xenforo bounce mailbox. Perhaps this isn't make sense..

When using this add-on you do not need to do that. The mandrill bounce notifications also are not always recognized as bounces by XenForo, since they are formatted like regular emails and just notify you about the bounce.

It was my understanding that I had to install this, enter the Mandrill API number, and it would automatically change the status of forum members with bounced email to the Bounced user state.

Everything is working from a sending standpoint, but the user status isn't changing. Is there something else I have to do to enable this function?

It will take a while for the processing to be done. Since when have you installed it?

I've had it installed for three or four days now. The emails are sending properly, the bounces are returning to Mandrill, but the user status isn't changing.

First of all, you don't have anything to apologize for :D

I really appreciate everything you do for everyone here and this community.

Please try to run the cron "[bd] Mails: Bounce Processing" manually and see if it works? Sorry for the inconvenience.

It looks like it's working now, I can see the changes in the activity log. For some reason it was just that one user which didn't change.

Thanks!

When bdMails marks an email as bounced, does it get added to the standard Email Bounce Log?

I'm not seeing anything listed there even though I know a few users have bounced...

Otherwise, is there a different log I can check to see who's had their email address changed to bounced?
