Maybe it's just that I've got a miserable cold, or maybe it really is completely freezing in my house right now, but for the time being, I have reluctantly relented, and the normal

Toe sockies! :D cute!

My job kinda dictates that I have to wear footwear. I work in London and on some not so nice places that are all covered in bird poo and drug paraphernalia so I'd rather not go barefoot there

see that's why there is a hairdryer on my floor under my desk. My computers make my room 90 degrees and I need to open the window to balance it. However in the middle of construction in my room ( because I don't know what I want to build where exactly) I find the floor being bare concrete a wee bit cold though myself like a maintained 62 degrees and no more. Add hairdryer to the scenario and I end up being able to stay barefooted and comfortable while making believe I know what I'm doing here at my computer.

Personally now that I think about as weird as it sounds... but shoes make me feel stifled whilst working at the keyboard. Anyone else get that? Like if I had an office job I would go nuts wearing some clogish things on my feat all day sitting in one spot. I think my solution while I have no resilient or soft-goods floor installed yet, I may set down the hosing for heated floors and worry about the boiler after. This way next winter will come and all I will have to do is throw a small boiler next to the main tank run a house and I will be able to enjoy being barefooted in my room. AHA I got it for now...heated blanket on the floor...going to shut off this hairdryer so I can hear myself think. All this in the name of podiatric comfort

Well, I would be exposing the under appreciated lower balance mechanism of my body more often but my environment isn't barefoot-friendly at the moment aka if there wasn't 5 and a half feet (") of melting snow and ice outside right now :-)

Part timer :p

If I'm at the comp, in the house or the garden for that matter the chances i'll be wearing any type of footwear is nil to slim pickings Jim grab me a pair of socks my feet are frigging freezing. I simply won't wear any footwear around the house or outside locally. However, If I'm going shopping that's another story. :p
