Well, I'm late to the thread.....
But this is a philosophy I live my life by. I guess being born on a volcano in the middle of the pacific might have something to do with it. Though that's still the place I prefer to bare 'em, I've walked in snow storms shoeless. In fact, come to think of it, I didn't confine them at all today.
I can often be found in my "office" with feet up and crossed. Shelly, your official barefooter smilie should be on a beach with a palm tree!

Slap a couple of hams on your feet and when they ask "why are you wearing hams" you can reply "shelley advised me too". It's a win win. You wear hams, they don't have to endure shoeless renegades and enforce their police rules upon you. Buffalo hams, try it.

Marinaded with buffalo ham paste for atleast 2 hours, walk into the office. Still want me to wear shoes? anything ham will bring positive results lol
