XF 2.2 Ban filter bug?

An odd issue is occuring in the "banned emails" section. Not sure if this is already fixed in 2023, seems a bug to me.
I was trying to add a *.tk ban, but it didn't work.

So I used the filter and put in .tk but nothing was found. When I used only .t then *.top was the result.

Now this seems wrong, because after some further checking, the *.tk was already present since 2021.

Same happens with .s too, so maybe with more characters, I only tested a few. With .r for example is showing everything starting with *.r as should be.

2.2 is now outdated and getting more so with every day that passes. Just upgrade to 2.3 and see if the problem persists.

Make sure to test 2.3 on a test server with a copy of your live forum first though for theme, add-on and other potential issues.

Are you using an addon for this filter? I don't have this filter thing in banned email listing on xf 2.2.x

Just upgrade to 2.3 and see if the problem persists.

No sorry upgrading is not an option for me at the moment. 2.2 is not EOL and still supported as far as I know. Shouldn't be to hard for support to check if the problem still persists in 2.3.

No. Just look at your banned emails page and then look at the right hand top side. Just below "import" there should be an empty box were you can put in text, that's the filter.

This is actually 2.3.2, but don't have a filter box here.
Is this enabled somewhere else in ACP?

Indeed you're quite correct. I do have that addon. I didn't know that it created a search box. But indeed if I disable the addon, the box is gone.

Then I presume I have to go over and ask in the addon thread.
Or maybe a moderator can move the thread over and/or close this one.

You can still check on a local copy as I suggested though and I think it's still worth doing even if you're not going to upgrade to 2.3 right now.

I did ask the developers the other day on the forum if there would be any more point updates to the 2.2.x line and they said no, so if it's a bug, then you're stuck with it until you upgrade.

Can't either, need an active license for that, which at this moment I also don't have. But it's not a Xenforo bug, it's looks like an addon bug.
And it's not that important so I can live with it until I upgrade.

No you don't.

You can install test and development sites at any time.

All you need an active license for is to download new versions and access ticket support.

Right, I have 2.2 so 2.3 is a new version, don't I need an active license then to download a new 2.3 version for test then? Because at this point I have 2.2 and expired license. So I don't think I can download a 2.3 version for test.
