XF 2.2 Back-End Script To Automate Restructuring Forum After Import

Apologies if this is an easy answer, but I'm new to all of this and I'm wondering if it's possible to write a script that can be run on the server in order to restructure the forum after an import has been finished?

We're importing from VB4 to XF2 and we'd like to do the following after the import:
  • Create/Merge/Edit Thread Prefixes
  • Create/Rename Categories
  • Create/Rename/Merge Forums
  • Create User Groups
  • Adjust User Group Permissions
Automating the above would help shave off several hours worth of manual labor. So, if it is possible to do this, where would I begin looking for documentation on how to accomplish this?
