XF 1.5 Avatar PNG / JPG problem

Affected XenForo 1.x

Why only the file extension is changed here?


Upload an PNG - this is saved as JPG - But when faulty!
In the attachment system it is done properly

1) Upload PNG (Real PNG)
2) right click on the Avatar and save this
3) upload the saved JPG Image ...

XenForo gives the message, the extension and contents does not match...

This is expected and if you upload that JPG file as an attachment it would fail too with the same error. The difference with attachments being if you download a full size attachment, it is routed through the XF attachment system so we do change the file name to the original file name of the file for downloading.
