XF 1.5 Auto send a Conversation to new members welcomeing them to the forum

Search for the "New User Welcome" and enable the "Start welcome conversation on registration". You can then configure the specific details of the conversation.

Brilliant, thanks. Does registration mean being approved? People register, then get approved. Ideally they will only get the welcome convo once approved.

You cant access non guests areas of the forum until approved. This would include conversations.

The conversation is only sent when their registration is "completed", so after email confirmation and/or manual approval.

As I posted in the other thread, and explained by Mike 2 posts up, the conversation is only sent once the member has confirmed their account.

The screenshot you posted in the other thread shows the account status as unconfirmed.
