Add-on Auto backup for xenforo 2?

Any way to auto backup for xenforo 2? There used to be addons for v1.x but this is not for v2 yet is this doable through chron if yes how?

Archive your /xenforo folder and use mysqldump to create a backup of your db. You can do that with a manual cron, but also with XF cron. You'd need to create custom classes for the script. They should be really basic, though.
