XF 2.2 attachments import from vb 4.2.3 not working

I just migrated a vB 4.2.3 forum to XF 2.2.2. During the import steps the path to attachments directory has to be specifed. The pre-filled "attachments" seems to be right.
But after importing everything is ok except the attachments are missing.

I have carried out the whole import twice, but without success.
Does somebody has any idea?

If there are no attachments then either the path was wrong, or the importer was unable to read the files due to permissions, etc.

You may have more luck moving attachments in VB from the file system to the database.

A fresh import will be required - it isn't possible to just bring the attachments over.

also make sure you have enough disk space on your hosting, during import attachments will be created & old VB will stay untouched
literally will be doubled
