free space is looking at the wrong place.

duplicate groups -- unsure how that knows anything yet when the scan failed.

missing thumbs - same
Good catch

The current analytics panel is still using local filesystem stats for free space, which obviously doesn’t make sense on S3/R2 storage.

I’ll be changing that so remote storage setups either:
  • show remote-aware metrics only
  • or hide unsupported local disk values entirely
The duplicate groups + missing thumbnail counts are also currently based on lightweight preview sampling before a full scan completes, which is why those numbers can look misleading if the scalable scan fails early.

Really appreciate the feedback this is exactly the sort of testing I wanted before calling the analytics side “finished”.

Attachment Integrity 5.4.5 Released

Attachment Integrity 5.4.5 Released

This update focuses mainly on stability, scan accuracy and improving support for larger forums using external storage providers such as S3 and Cloudflare R2.

Updated in 5.4.5:

  • Added proper "hashes.json" support for XenForo file health checks
  • Fixed scalable/background scan failures on stricter MySQL setups
  • Improved remote storage detection for S3/R2 environments
  • Removed misleading local disk free-space reporting on external storage...

Just kicked off a scan and it appears that all the issues i mentioned are fixed with the exception of the nav phrase

Brad P updated Attachment Integrity with a new update entry:

Attachment Integrity 5.4.6 Released

Done a fair bit of work on this update after some proper testing on larger forums and external storage setups.

Main fixes in this version:

  • Fixed S3/R2 scans incorrectly flagging attachments as missing
  • Files are now only marked missing if the addon can actually verify they’re gone
  • Improved external storage handling and remote object checks
  • Standard scans now use the storage adapter properly instead of local-only checks
  • Fixed ACP navigation phrase issues
  • Added proper...

this one seems to work better

you'll likely want a way to clear logs if running this mode so it doesn't conflict with prior errors such as mine above. so post scan (do you wish to clear old prior logs for a clean output) sort of thing, imo.

I'm behind CF and using Redis cache so it could be that, may want to probe to see if there is a stale cache issue.
Yeah that does help, thanks.

If Redis/CF is involved then it could definitely be a stale cache/compiledd phrase issue rather than the phrase not existing in the addon.

I’ve pushed another update that clears the compiled phrase row and refreshes the ACP nav phrase on upgrade, but if it still shows after that it may need:

  • rebuild caches in ACP
  • clear Redis/object cache
  • clear Cloudflare cache
  • hard refresh ACP

The scan/hash issue should also be improved now, as the previous hash mismatch logic was wrong XenForo’s "file_hash" shouldn’t be treated as a content checksum.

Appreciate you sticking with the testing on this.

Scan still running so I won't update (low priority) but once It's done I'll import the new.

This just doesn't work. i'm going to un-install.

even the stats don't line up on the same page

Yeah, but I wanted to be really careful with how it worked.

It can now detect duplicates, queue them up and run safety checks before anything gets touched. I didn’t want a situation where an addon just mass deletes files and causes attachment issues all over the place.

So the cleanup side is designed to only remove duplicate data rows that aren’t actively referenced anymore. Anything that looks questionable gets left for manual review instead.

@Brad P Would it be possible to implement a bulk deletion of attachments filtered by name?

One of the problems I'm having on my forum is that I import posts via RSS, which generates a lot of unnecessary attachments named default1.webp, default2.webp, etc.

I need a way to search for and delete all attachments containing that name, there are several thousand of them.

In fact, there is no other add-on that can do this, and it would be highly useful.

Thx!!
