Browser issue "Attach file" button when replying to a post is messed up

I am talking about the Attach file button when you reply to a thread. It only happens when I use Google Chrome under Ubuntu. The issue is very consistent.

The button is usually a transparent Flash control. This generally represents an internal issue with Flash. Nothing we can do about it, though you can disable the Flash uploader.

Man, that does not sound to be a good approach to improve your product Instead of blaming the flash, maybe the XenForo guys could develop a way to cope with the Flash issue?

The problem is that XenForo receives a valid flash response, so it displays the Flash uploader and provides a working script to the computer. If the computer's flash mishandles or fails to properly parse or display the upload button, XenForo doesn't receive any indication that it failed to enact a fall back. These types of issues are always browser specific (it handles something one way and no other way can work, etc.) or on your computer and not on the majority of users using the product.
