XF 2 Assistance cleaning up .htaccess file...

We are looking for someone that can help us clean up our .htaccess file for a reasonable fee, as this shouldn't be too terribly difficult for someone who is knowledgeable with this kind of code.

We tried uploading the default xF2 .htaccess and it causes a blank white page. So my guess is there is something in the current .htaccess file that is needed, but not sure what... and not sure why.
