XF 1.4 Append string to the end of RSS feed links

is it possible to append a string to the end of forum RSS feed links so that I can track with Google analytics which "direct" referrals are actually from an RSS feed?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but you'll need an add-on or customizations to the source to modify the RSS output.
