I wish xenForo will stay purely a forum software (and not a forum / half made blog which nobody uses / half made CMS which no one understands) ; that being said I think a lot of us have a site "part". On this part I'd like to easily implement, for example, the login, the registration (custom skinned), the latest threads, comment posting, etc. so users may not know there is a forum and my site could be on a different database using custom development. I'm not talking about linking/syncing a WordPress/Drupal/Joomla/whatever to xenForo: the only user base would be the one of xenForo.
Not sure if I explained myself correctly...
NB: currently, I use the vB "framework" for my site, including some files and using all the vB routines... because they never made such a feature, which could be really handy (and lighter).
