I need to redirect root xenforo to sub-domain (apache)
from
Animelon.com
to
forums.animelon.com
Cheers
header('Location: http://forums.animelon.com');
Hi borbole will that direct index also? I use the index.php you seeCreate an index.php file in the root and put the following code in it:
PHP:header('Location: http://forums.animelon.com');
Aye thought so guess I need someother way cheersThat code will redirect the requested page http://animelon.com/ to http://forums.animelon.com/. In other words if someone go to animelon.com the browser will redirect him to the location's link.
everything other than index pointing to a subdomainWhat do you need in this specific case? Maybe I can help you
Yes that's the way I have it now have a look might give you a better ideado you want animelon.com as your home page and forums.animelon.com as your xenforo root (forums view)?
No an exmaple would beyour request is change http://forums.animelon.com/events/ to http://events.animelon.com/ like http://cosplays.animelon.com/?
What do you mean? I have no redirect in place atm what you are seening atwhat's wrong at the moment, it seem works fine
Yes like I said everything but index.mmmh, what do you really need is add a forums before these links?
yea except index.but index = except for index?
I have no idea what that means. I think you seem to be mistakenmmmmh, i guess you can put all xenforo to forums directory and include the xenforo root index in the root directory index. I guess it can be a good work around
