Anyone do a hostname ban?

I am getting a TON of SPAM signups from 1 particular host and I just want to ban that host from ALL my sites.

If anyone is seeing the same issue or has attempted to ban this site through a plug, let me know.

What do you have in place to stop spammers?

Probably not the best idea to do the ban based on hostname (if that's indeed what you are doing). If someone is on an IP where the registered DNS server is down for his block (happens quite often actually), they will see a 10-20 second pause as the server tries to look up the hostname from the IP.

Should be an IP (or the whole netblock) ban.

@digitalpoint, that is pretty much what I did. I just banned the B block IP and it fixed the issue.
