XF 1.5 Any issues enabling SSL?

This may be an obvious yes but I need to ask. I enabled SSL with my vBulletin site and it was an absolute disaster.

Are there any side effects to enabling SSL? It seems the newer implementations make it so that there's no going back if you don't do it right.

Many customers run XF via HTTPS without issue - we do it ourselves on this forum.
