I would like to ask if you can add some criteria to use the anonymous posting addon. For example, a user can send 5 anonymous posts daily etc. This can be changed for each user group or other criteria such as registration time.

It can be really useful. I really like this addon but a lot of users started to abuse this feature, and it is annoying us now.

Hi @truonglv - These two settings for applying/tracking a random anonymous ID are no longer working for me. When I check the box to post anonymously, the poster's username only appears as "Anonymous" without the added random ID. Any thoughts on what the issue could be?



I was at first thinking the issue was due to a conflict with @Ozzy47's Verification Badges add-on (https://xenforo.com/community/resources/ozzmodz-verification-badges.9324/), but the error persists even when I try disabling Verification Badges. So I'm not sure what's going on.

I selected one of my forums in the "Default Checked "Posting Anonymous" in forums:" but the ability to post anonymously comes up in every forum. How do I restrict the ability to post anonymously to only one forum without having to update node permissions on every other forum ( I have 50+ nodes)?

I've run into this same issue. If a user requests a post be made anonymous, why can't I edit it to anonymous for them?

You can do it in long way at the moment. You can go for each node and set the usergroup permission for that node, and reject anonymous posting in that node. I hope @truonglv have better solution or explanation.

Yes you can config for specific forums.

Can we prioritize compatibility with your Post Reply addon? It's tough where we pay for both just to see that Post Reply is not compatible with Post Anonymous addon. It's also a very simple fix.

This looks very interesting, and I have a use for something like this. However, my question may seem trivial. Does the Avatar get replaced with a generic "A" for all the different posters, or does the user have an option to designate an "Anonymous Avatar" when posting incognito mode?

Also, is there an option to have the Anonymous Mode enabled by default or disabled by default per board? Like there's a couple boards where it would be helpful to not have to worry about if I'm posting Anonymously or not, and there's some boards where I'd like the option to manually enable it for a post here or there.
