Hi,

My forum just stoped working after 3 days on xf2.0 and I got this error:

An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later

I moved forum frome one VPS to another. Also upgraded php to php7. But what is strange is that everyhing was working for 3 days and this morning I got this error

This is probably telling you that MySQL isn't actually running right now. If it is, then the socket file has been moved to a different location -- if possible, you can move it back; otherwise, use "127.0.0.1" instead of "localhost" in your src/config.php file.

Problem with server (somehow I overfilled it because I had two 30GB backups there). Now it is OK. But I was not sure what is problem and I was in panic so first thing was to ask heir, but in the end it was not xenforo related at all... sorry
