Allow Security Fix for those with expired licenses

Hello,

My license has expired, and at the moment, I don't have the ability to renew and pay for it.
It would be convenient to get, for example, XenForo 2.2.17 Released (Security Fix) through the admin panel.
However, the admin panel says there are no updates available...

At the same time, you release the patch publicly, meaning those who haven't renewed their license can still download it. So, what's the point of not allowing them to do this automatically?

i get the warning about my license being expired in control panel but it showed as an update available and allowed me to install it.
is there a process that makes xenforo check regularly for updates?
if so did you run it again?

Interesting. Mine is also expired and the update was not showing for me, so I did it manually. I just checked and it's showing that the update is available now.

I manually checked for updates, and the site says no updates are available.

I had to update it manually...

We cannot always guarantee patches are fully compatible or safe to use on earlier versions.

The only way to ensure that is to do a complete upgrade to the specified version.

Where possible we try our best to provide the fully patched file or, as in this case, the specific change instructions.

The upgrade check can only report versions that were released up until your license expiry date
