XF 2.3 Allow search engine indexing

After upgrading to the latest version I see the admin account has a new option "Allow search engine indexing" when posting. I hadn't seen this mentioned anymore before other than a suggestion that was closed and never replied to. Is there any documentation about this? I realize it's pretty self-explanatory, I just find it interesting to have never read about it being a feature - and if it's admin only or programmable somewhere in the admincp...

Allow search engine indexing - is enabled for moderators, is that correct?

It is actually a moderator permission that admins can grant to mods. Theoretically you could grant that mod permission to normal users who aren't mods, but I would be very careful about doing that. Even most mods I would not trust with making SEO decisions.

It can apply when posting or as a thread edit
