XF 2.1 Allow HTML when importing from an RSS feed?

We're migrating from vBulletin where we use RSS to pull in information from a (trusted) third party, which currently includes HTML in the description.

Is there any way to allow HTML when importing from an RSS feed? At the minute it's not even stripped – it's just escaped.

The short answer here is no. XF has 0 concept of allowing HTML in posts (and it's unlikely to be something we'd include in future).

I have the some problem, XF is removing videos via iframe. It basically renders an entertainment or movie RSS useless. At the moment I am fixing them by editing by hand and adding the missing video.
