RM 1.1 Allow guests to external site downloads?

I'm using RM to include a listing of 3rd party applications support sites and am using the external URL to link to the various sites. Guests have "Download resources" turned off by default. That also restricts them from getting the button to download from external sites.

Can I allow guests to get the download from external site button without also having to give them permissions to download locally hosted resources?

The 'Download resources' permission applies to all resource types.
It's not possible to allow/prevent certain types.

You would have to include the link in the resource body.

Or, if they are separate categories, you can set the permissions there.
