I upgraded from 1.5 to 2.3.7. (test run). So far it looks ok apart from the attachments: Somehow the thumbnail and the fullsized attachment are shown at the same time (see screenshot). I would guess I could fix it by rebuilding the post metadata. The support told me there is no CLI command and I should use it on the web browser. However, it would take forever doing that in adminCP as there are over 5 millions posts, it would take me over 20h to complete. Also there is no guarantee that this really fixed by it. And I don't want to close the board for that long.
Best case would be to prevent this happen in the first place. Has anybody an idea what this would cause this? I had this so far with:
2.3.7
2.3.6
but few months earlier I tried with 2.3.5, this installation looked ok. I could upgrade to this version first but I remember correctly there was another bug which caused the upgrade to fail, which was later fixed. So I would probably have to install even older versions first and then upgrade.
Maybe someone had the problem before?
