I've had this featured recently enabled on my forum. However, the forum, where reports are created, is set to private, meaning only staff members can see/reply to user generated reports.
This had me thinking if this was a good approach? What would you suggest? Keep the forum private as it is or make it so the user who reported the content is able to see their thread too?
The reason why I'm asking is because it just hit me that with the report system, you could mark it with a solution that I believe notifies the member. Having the forum/thread private means all decisions made will go unnoticed by the user, which in turn, might result the user in reporting it again.
What do you think?
