Ads Manager 2 by Siropu

Ads Manager 2 by Siropu [Paid] 2.6.5

No permission to buy (€50.00)
This bug still exists and I'm trying to add new discounts and it's super annoying to have to redo them all to put them in a certain order, explained here:
Will be fixed in the next release.

Seeing these errors every 30 minutes when the cron runs. Happens with both XF 2.3.9 and XF 2.3.10.
Cannot reproduce it but I have made some changes to prevent the error.

What is currently emailed, how can this be improved for marketing purposes?
Advertisers get an email before it expires and when it expired.

Can this be fixed?
It is fixed already. make sure your are using the latest template unmodified.

I tested this and it looks like it is fixed for the Min and Max Invoice fields but not the Discount field.

Using 2.6.5 - Have you made any changes to the landing page that opens after saving edits?

- If I go into the List Ads page, pick an advertiser and click it, I get to be able to edit that advert campaign.

- After I save the changes, shouldn't the page return to the List Ads page? Or just stay on the edit page? I thought it used to return to the List Ads page so I can go to another campaign if I need to?

Thanks,

Andre

More of a suggestion than a bug. Cam the dollar amounts please follow the $0.00 formula? There's areas where $12.50 shows as 12.5, even on the front end to the customer, which looks odd, thanks!

Green arrow = correct

Front end to customer. Can this have the $ and the .50?

It DOES show at the top of the create ad page correctly:

Thanks!

After saving an Ad it should go back to the Ad list, I don't see any issues with that.

I have made some changes for front-end to display it correctly in the next release. The promo code discount value field is float the min/max invoice is decimal.

I don't see any changes in that behavior.
I'm confused.
You say it should go back to Ads List.
I say yes but it's not going back to Ads List.

Something must have changed for this to happen, no?
I norice the same in Chrome or Firefox on Windows 10.
No AdBlockers.

I've been using Ads Manager for quite a few years now and am very happy with it. Mainly we use it for running network code but have recently gained an advertiser who is willing to pay for a fixed number of banner impressions (hurrah!).

I'm struggling to set up my ads so that the following works
  • Banner ads display in a specific position until impressions exhausted, then
  • Network code takes over and displays
Grateful for guidance on how to make this happen please?

  • Banner ads display in a specific position until impressions exhausted, then
  • Network code takes over and displays
Can be done by enabling the Placeholder feature in the Package and then editing the placeholder ad and adding your own ad code.

Thanks for your quick reply and also reply through your support system
  • I've upgraded to Ads Manager 2
  • Then created a package of ad type 'banner'
  • Added an advert with a start date, end date and view limits
  • In the package I've selected 'Enable placeholder' and 'Use placeholder as backup ad (can be edited from ad list)'
The issue is that I now don't see how I can add network code as the backup ad - where is this please?

Thanks, I think I might have found an issue.

In the package I click on "Enable Placeholder" and "Use Placeholder as Backup Ad" followed by save

When I try to create an ad, there is no placeholder ad showing in the ad list (see below)

When I return to the package and go to Advertising I find that the "Enable Placeholder" option is no longer selected!

Bug report:
Carosel package:
Set Ads to show: 4
Existing ads: 3
The display order is not followed correctly.
Change Ads to show to 3 and they show up in the correct display order.

I just notice this bug when most ads expire and the remaining ads are lower than the Ads to show setting.
