If global positions work with it would be very easy. If not, it has the option to embed ads outside XF so it is possible by placing a code in the place where you want the ads to show up.

This macro you can copy&paste in the thxpress_wrapper template on the position you want.

Take a look in the source code of the page. Are the ads there?

Upload everything, overwriting the old files. Then in ACP > Add-ons you can run the upgrade. You won't lose anything.

You said that you can see them in the source code of the page, which means that the add-on inserts them into the page. Take a look in the browser console and see if there are any error messages from adsense.

I've looked in the browser console, and I am not quite sure where to look for errors.

Both my adsense and other publishers ads don't show. They only show in the default light mode.

I am using a CDN, but I imagine that would affect both themes equally.

I can see some AdSense ads loading and some don't. It's a mystery to me how adsense works.

Ok, I've got better clarity on what is going on now. I realised that as an admin, I had adsense hidden from me. But I am now testing as a logged out user. When in dark mode, my other publishes ads do not appear. Let me send you a PM as an example.

Quick note to say Siropu gave great support in the PMs and solved my issue. Remember, if you have 2 themes and you put an ad script in PAGE_CONTAINER, you need to make sure you have added that script to both themes.

I read something recently about page caching having an effect on what ads are shown to desktop verses mobile users. It said that a page cache can't tell the difference and so the same ads get shown to each. Is this true? Anyone using page caching and trying to show different ads to each?
