Add-on issues

Hello there, Community!

I'm having an issue with the area you install add-ons,
I'm unable to install any add-on as there is no button or option allowing me to upload an xml file, Like on the old version of XenForo you go to addons and straight away have a box where you can browse and upload, but on my version, I've got no option what so ever apart from a screen saying (No add-ons are installed or available to be installed.), I've tried everything and hunted everywhere for an answer however it just looks like I'm the one with the issue, Am i being stupid and looking in the wrong place or is there an answer to the problem? Welcome, Jack. This is not a bug. What add-on are you trying to install and what is the url of your forum? I may not get back here for a while, but someone will be along to help, I'm sure.

First you must copy the add-on files to your server, and then it will show up in the add-on list for you to install.

I have done that, It still won't show up.

That suggests you haven't uploaded the files correctly.

Ensure the add-on structure is correct for XF2, then upload the contents as described in the help manual.
