Add "Do not show this box" option to Mark forum as read confirmation

Yes, but .. as irritating as accidentally clicking it. Perhaps just better position it then? Rather than losing so much content that was new :(
 
I don't think the confirmation dialog is necessary, and I definitely don't think a user setting for it is either...

I agree with Floris - if you place the link in a good spot, there is no need for a confirmation. Where it is now is a lot better than where it was before (the first link), but it still might be a little too prominent.

For me personally, it works where it is now
 
"Mark Content Read" in front of search on the right, splits it away from the left menu options .. (thinking outloud)
 
As I said on another thread, in my opinion horizontal and vertical menus should always flow left to right and top to bottom with the most important links in order.

So in this case What's New? | Watched Threads | Mark All Forums Read would be the way I would have it on my site.

I also suggested the order of the links in Your Account should also be changed for the same reason.

this is a must!!
 
I don't need a button to re-enable the confirmation box, since I'm not going to suddenly forget that I am in fact marking all forums read.
