Are logged in as an Administrator or Super Administrator? When I log in today all the tools are gone on the left side and it says I have the correct php. What happened? I can't do anything without my admin tools.
Admin. It was there earlier yesterdayAre logged in as an Administrator or Super Administrator?
I have and received the following in response:Have you opened a support ticket so XF staff can log into your forum to see what going on?
Sounds like a permission issue.
If your license hasn't been renewed then you'll have to do that to get support. Unless you have XF cloud then that should be paid monthly.I want to know if Xenforo themselves check which php I have?
Don't be silly. An active license is a requirement for support and is in their terms and conditions. You'll just have to renew I'm afraid. You should always be on the latest version anyway for the latest security and bug fixes. It's currently 2.3.6.It's very rude to say that I have to have a license to get an answer to such a question that is very important from a security perspective! I'm starting to wonder if Xenforo has somehow removed it to force me to renew my license.
The PHP version is shown in the control panel for super admins. If you're the only administrator and you're not a super admin, then presumably an add-on may be interfering or someone has compromised your forum.I want to know if Xenforo themselves check which php I have?
Admin, super admin multi super super admin or whatever you call it doesn't matter. I have been the only admin on my forum for over 6 years. I have all the authority over my forum. Do you think it suddenly occurred today that I am not an admin and lack tools? When I log in to acp, the settings or whatever it is called on the left side is gone as you can see in the picture. In the yellow field there is a message that my license has expired and that I should renew the license. That is why I have written about whether it is Xenforo that is behind the tools being gone because my license has expired? I have looked at the logs and no one has entered my forum. But this whole thing is very strange that I have never missed those tools but all of a sudden it is gone when I get a message that my license has expired. The PHP version is shown in the control panel for super admins. If you're the only administrator and you're not a super admin, then presumably an add-on may be interfering or someone has compromised your forum.
As a note, any support on the forum is provided as a courtesy. Only ticket support is officially provided and it has always required an active license.
I don't know, is that what happened?Do you think it suddenly occurred today that I am not an admin and lack tools?
If you really need to hear it from us, no, there is nothing in the software that would even allow us to remotely disable an installation for any reason. The only correlation would be that we display that notice so that you can easily upgrade your forum and benefit from any security fixes. That is why I have written about whether it is Xenforo that is behind the tools being gone because my license has expired?
