Access denied 403 - Urgent

Hi,

I'm receiving this above error message when I visit my website and I did not touch anything...
I have rebooted my dedicated server, tried on IP (to check DNS), tried to change permissions on public_html folder and by mistake, I put 754 to subfolders and files but no change...

Something is wrong but all invoices are paid, even the one for Cpanel, server is ok, I don't get it...

Can someone help me please during the time Matt check the problem but he is from UK so sleeping atm I presume... :(

I presume visitors/members are trying to reach my website but without success. :(

First this, I would say you mixed up some permissions.
Is it a managed server? If so, there might have been some updates.

I did not change any permission untill my website was down for trying to resolve the above issue. :(
No update, everything is checked by Matt, I don't install any updates.

I'm actually changing permissions to 777 for internal data and data folders + content ( according to this link for XF2 https://xenforo.com/community/threads/file-permissions-chmod.133577/ )
 
Can someone provide me permissions on important folders and files for Xenforo2?
I mean, numbers like 644 or 755 or 777 for dif. folders/files...
 
How do you change the permissions ? With FileZilla for example you have to do it using the HOST Menu (Add a custom order) not directly on the files and folder.
 
in the FZ menu, choose HOST, do you see ADD A CUSTOM ORDER or something like this ? If Yes use it and type SITE CHMOD 705 /
It seems your site is hosted by OVH, that's right ? I had this kind of problem and this action resolve it.

No it is not, I meant, my website generates a lot of trafic, that's critical... :(
Anyway, I don't pay monthly services to Matt but logged a ticket in order to check this urgency.

First time I'm facing this kind of issue.
However, I asked him a lot of things (upgrade, management, migration...).

If someone have any idea...

Hum, never faced this issue lol. I switched back to Litespeed and everything is working now.
What the hell is this. :s

By the way, problem solved, I will anyway investigate this, don't want to have some breachs...
