There may already be a way to do this, but what I'm looking for is to add a checkbox when posting -- similar to 'Watch,' 'Open,' or 'Sticky' -- to avoid bumping a thread when posting.
For context: I have a writing/roleplay forum, and I would like a way for certain users to be able to post critique/reviews on posts without bumping to the top of the forum. That way I can encourage these users to put reviews on older content, not just the newest. I could sort the forum by created date, but then some threads which are still being updated with new writing (sometimes across weeks or months) would fall out of sight.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
