[8wayRun.Com] XenUtiles (Tools)

Status
Not open for further replies.
Looks like when a spam is caught, it generates a server error. Running on XF 1.0.0 and XenUtiles 1.0.6 and saw 1.1.0 version when I came here to report

P.S: I got API for all 3 antispam services, registration heuristic on medium and validated on failure checked.

I've got no ideas why this is happening or what it even means. Can anyone shed any light?

Jaxel,
We still have one more error and Mike told me it's very like coming from the StopForumSpam I used in this mod

I wish I can Jaxel,
The server log in XF ACP cut off those url at the end like that. Even Mike didn't know the full url.

How can i get them on my server for you?
Try right clicking the link and selecting "copy link address"? I dont know if the full details are stored in the database.

I can easily program in a catch to the exception, but it would be better to know why it's happening in the first place; and I need the url for that.

Anyways... I figured out the issue... when submitting data to StopForumSpam, the data wasn't getting urlencoded...

Try this new file...

Unfortunately, it's not displayed as hyperlink but rather text so there is no copy address trick which I should have known.
Which tables is this stored in? Now I'm getting curious to find out the mysterious link.

Awesome, that may be the problem. I updated and waiting for the next spammer to come ;)
Thanks Jaxel

I've got a small request. I'm not sure if you can or want to add this, but I'd be really grateful if you would.

On my old VB forum I used an addon that would scan all posts of people with less than x posts for the words that I configured (links, images, viagra, and all kind of commonly used spam words). If any of those were indeed in the message, that message would automatically be a moderated post, so my members weren't harassed by spam. Even if they did get past the rest of my defenses, no used would ever find their spam posts, and I could easily delete all their stuff instantly. And if for some reason a legitimate post ended up on there, I could just allow it afterwards.

Could you add a feature like this to XenUtiles? I like it a lot, but a real time defense like this would make it even better.

It's because your forum is closed. To a guest it shows "Zomg you can see it o_O Open soon :D".

This is what google will see when checking your website sitemap url.
